Unlike the tree planting on Marine Parade back in May, the 10 – 12 members of Greenmeadows were not matched by a similar number from the other clubs in Napier this time at Awatoto.Nevertheless, our hearty gardiners rose to the occasion, even when they had to dig their own holes this time.
It took some time and some were said to be out of breath but they certainly enhanced the shelter that our club erected on the site some time back.
