“ Mrs. Harris goes to Paris”The fight to eliminate POLIO from the world continues. The monies raised this evening from the movie" Mrs. Harris goes to Paris", approx. $1500.00, will be added to that fight! Add to that the Bill and Belinda Gates Foundation offers to match us 2-1 – That is a further $3,000 from that Foundation so in total $4500.00 is available to be spent on eliminating the virus.
A special thanks go to all who supported the evening, members and partners who prepared nibbles, Jim and Pamela who so kindly donated a beautiful raffle (which was won by Marlene Neems), those who sold all the tickets, and most importantly, Judi and Carol who drove the evening to such a successful conclusion.
