Rotary Te Puke Serves the Community with Integrity and Pride Empowering People to Meet their Full Potential.

Chartered in 1954 Rotary Te Puke has been serving the Te Puke Community for more than 60 years and has a strong focus on youth and youth leadership programs, both local and rotary based.

We are committed supporters of the Te Puke High School CACTUS Program in which students from a cross section of the school community are pushed to their limits in a military style program with a focus on team work and goal setting. The CACTUS program is in its fourth year and is now a certificate recognised by the Army, Navy and NZ Police.
In addition we are proud supporters of Fairhaven School Young Leaders, Te Puke High School Duke of Edinburgh program and Dictionaries in Schools.

Our annual Charity Dinner & Auction is the focal point of our Rotary calendar and our main fundraiser for the year. With support from our local community the funds raised at the Charity Auction are used to support community projects with recent benefactors such as St. John Youth Division & Youth Employment.

In recent years we have also launched the Te Puke Community Awards to recognise those special people in our community who go that extra mile to support our young people.

Each year we invite the community to participate in a community event such as a garden makeover which gives us an opportunity to get our hands dirty and showcase the very best of our community.
