A Rotary Youth Exchange camp was held at the Berwick campsite during the last weekend of January.
Organised by the hardworking members of our Rotary Youth Exchange Committee, the camp was attended by the students who are currently being hosted in the District ("Inbounds") and students who have just returned from a year away in countries such as Belgium, Chile, France, Austria, and Switzerland ("Rebounds").
A variety of activities were held during the weekend, including participation in the Rotary Club of Mosgiel's "Run the Runway" event in the early hours of Sunday morning - one of the RYE students, Simon Bechmann (Denmark) who is being hosted by the Rotary Club of Fiordland, was the overall winner of the race, beating all of the local favourites!
